Visitors can learn about the offshore wind project details through interactive displays

BOSTON and FALL RIVER, MA – AUGUST 11, 2022 – Mayflower Wind the developer of an offshore wind energy lease area located off the coast of Massachusetts today announced that it launched a virtual exhibition room with details about its projects. Visitors can move their way through a museum-like tour of exhibits, including infographics, maps, and other data visualizations.

Dugan Becker, community liaison officer for Mayflower Wind said, “Mayflower Wind created this resource so people can learn about how an offshore wind project comes together, and the clean energy and economic benefits these projects provide.” Becker added, “The information is diverse, digestible and can be accessed at any time.”

After entering the lobby visitors can navigate through several rooms including, The Power of Offshore Wind, A Strong Economic Catalyst, Protecting People, and the Environment, and Offshore to Onshore Connections.

Becker noted that as the project progresses the details in the various rooms will be updated. “We encourage people to visit often, especially as the permitting phase progresses and details of the project become firm,” he said.

The exhibition room is temporarily unavailable.
